The Roman Road
Plan of Salvation

The Romans were builders!  Even though centuries have passed, visitors to the regions of the old Roman Empire are still awed by the building techniques that were developed by the Romans.
The Romans built roads to link all of the provinces of the empire with Rome.  The expression "All roads lead to Rome" was born from that endeavor.  Some of those roads still exist in parts of Europe, Asia, and Africa.  That is a spectacular achievement.

In the scriptures we will find a Roman road that doesn't lead to Rome.  This Roman road leads you to salvation in Christ.  It is an enduring road that will remain open to travelers for as long as the world stands.  It is called "The Roman Road" because it is found in the New Testament book of "Romans".  Please allow me to be your guide along "The Roman Road”.

  • Romans 1:16 - The gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes
  • Romans 3:16 - None of us are righteous enough to go to heaven without salvation.
  • Romans 3:23Everyone of us have sinned, therefore, we all need Christ as our Savior
  • Romans 5:8 - God loves us even though we are sinners
  • Romans 6:23 - "...the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord
  • Romans 8:1 - Everyone escapes the penalty of their sin through Jesus Christ.
  • Romans 10:9 - Confess your faith in Jesus, believe in your heart that He is resurrected from the grave, and you will be saved from the penalty of your sin
  • Romans 10:13 - Anyone who prays for salvation will be saved
  • Romans 12:1 - Live out your remaining days in faithful service to Christ

I pray that you have already walked "The Roman Road".  If you have not, please take a moment right now to pray for salvation.  Your prayer will be heard by God, and He will honor the sacrifice made by His son for your sins. Then, go to church with family or friends, and be baptized.

God Bless You,
